Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account data — name, email, password (stored hashed), buyer role, profile fields, and optional avatar.
• Safe Purchase cases — project and flat details you submit at intake (address, wing/floor/unit as you know them, optional builder name, concerns, and uploads), contact details for the case, stage progress, meeting details set by us, fee payments, evidence we attach for your check, a private case building visual we maintain for your progress page, confidential report delivery messaging, and the platform verdict with reason. Progress is accessed via a private token URL.
• Usage and security — login attempts (including IP address, browser, device type, and network classification), a device identifier cookie used to reduce registration abuse, notifications, civic search launch tokens (short-lived, tied to your session), and actions needed to operate dashboards and admin moderation.
• Payments — Safe Purchase staged fees processed via Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Consultation requests — name, contact, subject, and message content submitted on About us.
• Civic search — search criteria you submit (ward, village, CTS/CS, FP, grid, and related fields) to validate lookups and launch official MCGM tools on your behalf; we do not store full municipal map session data after a launch link expires.

How we use information

We use your data to authenticate you, run Safe Purchase investigations, show private progress (including building visual updates and verdicts) to you and our team, process Safe Purchase fees, launch validated civic searches for signed-in users, respond to consultation messages, prevent abuse, and improve the service. Administrators may review accounts and activity logs for security and support.

Safe Purchase privacy boundaries

Your Safe Purchase request stays private to you and our platform team. Builders and developers are not notified of your check and do not receive your identity through this platform. Confidential reports and personalized purchase verdicts are not published on public pages. Case building visuals and civic facts we record for your check appear only on your private progress page (and in our admin tools). Keep your private progress link confidential.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. We share data with service providers (such as payment processing and hosting) only as needed to run the platform. Civic search features may route your browser through our servers to load official MCGM content; underlying map and parcel data remain served by municipal systems. We retain account, Safe Purchase case, and transaction records while your account is active and as required for legal, tax, audit, or security purposes. Deletion logs may retain limited identifiers after account removal for audit integrity.

Your choices

You may update profile information from your account settings. You may request account deletion through support or in-app flows where available. If registrations or consultation are paused by administrators, related features will display a notice instead of accepting new submissions.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted sessions, access controls for super-admin tools, and logging of sensitive actions. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; please use a strong password and protect your login credentials. Keep your private Safe Purchase progress link confidential.
